What it actually does

Two mineral silicates in the formula dry into an ultra-thin film across the skin. As that film sets it contracts slightly, and the loose, puffy surface under the eye is pulled smooth with it. Light stops catching the same shadows. Two supporting ingredients sit alongside it. Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 is a peptide with a mild relaxing effect on the fine muscle around the eye, with modest published data behind it. How to use — read this part
The eight minutes of stillness are the whole trick.
This matters more here than with an ordinary skincare product. The film has to dry undisturbed to set properly. Talk, rub your eyes or head straight out into the heat while it is still wet, and it will not hold.

A very small amount, on clean dry skin
Half a grain of rice per eye. Pat it thinly over the puffy area with a fingertip. No moisturiser, no sunscreen and no oil underneath — the film will not set on top of them.

Sit still for eight to ten minutes
Keep your face relaxed. Do not talk, smile or squint while it dries, and do not touch it. This is a good moment to get dressed or read your notes.

Go — it holds up to ten hours
Heavy sweat or oily skin will shorten it. Wash your face at the end of the day and the film comes off with everything else.
First time, try it on an ordinary evening rather than an hour before the interview. Ten minutes of practice tells you exactly how much to use.

Does it really work in ten minutes?
Yes, and that is the honest headline: the film takes eight to ten minutes to dry and contract, and the tightening appears as it sets. What it will not do is anything permanent.
What happens after ten hours?
The effect fades gradually as the film breaks down, and washing your face removes it completely. Your skin returns to how it was — nothing has changed underneath.
Will it fix my dark circles?
No. It reduces the look of puffiness and the shadow that puffiness casts, for a few hours. Pigmentation and long-term under-eye condition need a daily product with different ingredients, which this is not.
Can I use it every day?
There is no reason you cannot, but there is not much point. It gives you the same few hours each time and builds toward nothing. Most people keep a tube for the mornings that count.
Will anyone be able to tell I am wearing something?
Not if you use a very small amount and let it dry properly. Too much product, or moisturiser underneath, is what causes a visible film or a white cast. Practise once before you need it.
Can I put moisturiser or sunscreen on top?
Not over the treated area. Anything applied on top of the dried film will disturb it. Apply them elsewhere on your face and leave the under-eye area alone.
Does it sting?
You will feel a tightening sensation as it dries, which is the film doing its job. It should not sting. Keep it away from the eye itself, and patch test first.
How many uses in a tube?
5 ML, and the dose is tiny — so a tube covers a great many occasions. It is not a product you will be reordering monthly.
