Straight from the Đà Lạt highlands
Đà Lạt strawberries from the cool highlands, cooked down and rolled in sticky rice paper in Đồng Tháp, in Vietnam's Mekong Delta, by Tây Cát, a small family-run maker. Each round is cut, wrapped on its own, and packed by hand. No preservatives, no dyes.
Questions
Is it crunchy or hard?
Only the thin rice-paper shell is crisp. It's baked, not fried, so it crackles when you bite; the fruit inside stays soft and chewy.
Where is it made?
In Đồng Tháp, in Vietnam's Mekong Delta, by Tây Cát, a small family-run maker. Each round is cut, wrapped on its own, and packed by hand. No preservatives, no dyes.
Is there added sugar?
A little palm sugar, to take the sharp edge off the fruit. About 2–3 g of added sugar per serving; the rest of the sweetness is the fruit itself. Full numbers are in Nutrition facts.
Does it need to go in the fridge?
No. Keep it in a cool, dry place; it keeps for 15 months unopened. Each bite is wrapped on its own, so the rest stay fresh after you open the bag.
One bag or three?
Same bites, three sizes. One bag is about 18 bites for $14.99 plus $4.99 shipping. Three bags are $29.98, so the third bag is free, and shipping is free too. Five bags are $44.97: buy 3, get 2 free, free shipping.
