Tired eyes have two causes. Most eye creams work on one.
Under-eye darkness comes from blood vessels showing through thin skin and from pigment sitting in it. AlertEye carries caffeine at 5% for the first and niacinamide for the second, both concentrations printed on the tube. Cooling rollerball, fragrance-free, thirty seconds before you leave the house.

Dermatology sorts under-eye darkness into three types. Two of them respond to what you put on your skin, and they respond to different ingredients. If a product carries only one active, you see an improvement, then a plateau.

"Contains caffeine" is not a concentration.

01 Roll under the eye, cheekbone outward — two passes along the orbital bone on each side. The steel tip is cold, so you feel where it has been. Stay on the bone, not on the lid.
02 Tap it in with one finger. Light taps, no dragging — pulling at this skin is one of the things that put pigment there in the first place. Dry in about twenty seconds.
03 Every morning, then judge it at week six. The cooling and the vascular side you notice early; pigment moves on a slower clock, so give it the full tube before deciding.

Questions men actually ask
How long before I see anything?
The cooling is immediate and the vascular side usually reads within one to two weeks of daily use. Pigment is slower — judge that at six weeks, roughly one tube.
Can I use it with a moisturiser or sunscreen?
Yes. Roll it on clean skin first, tap it in, then your moisturiser and SPF over the top.
Will 5% caffeine sting or dry me out?
It should not. There is hyaluronic acid in the base for that reason, and no fragrance or essential oil. Keep it on the orbital bone and out of the eye itself.
Why a rollerball instead of a jar?
The steel tip is cool against the skin, which is the sensation that tells you it went on — and you are not putting fingers into a jar or dragging them across the thinnest skin on your face.
Is 15 ml enough to be worth it?
One roll under each eye is a fraction of a millilitre. Used every morning, a tube runs about ten weeks — longer than the six you need to judge whether it works on you.
