Frequently Asked Questions
What's in the boxes?
Each month's box follows one place and season in Vietnam. Every size has a fixed lineup, shown on this page before it ships. Nothing is picked at random.
Taste: 6 snacks, ginger tea included. Share: everything in Taste plus 5 more, so 11 snacks. Feast: everything in Share plus 5 more, Vietnamese phin coffee included, so 16 snacks.
If a snack sells out before your box ships, we replace it with one of equal or higher value and tell you by email. Your printed guide lists exactly what's in your box.
What's in the printed guide?
Every box comes with a small printed guide, so you don't need your phone. It tells you what each snack is, the story behind it and how to eat it, with its ingredients and allergens. It also suggests an order to taste them over a pot of tea, and has a scorecard to tick off what you tried and circle your favorite.
When will my box arrive?
Your box arrives 4–8 business days after you order, within the contiguous US, with tracking. On a monthly plan, each following box ships after your monthly renewal.
Can I send it as a holiday gift?
Yes. Choose Give A Gift, add their name and your note, and enter their address at checkout. We print your note on a card in the first box.
Gifts arrive 4–8 business days after you order. To be sure it lands before Thanksgiving, order no later than November 12; before Christmas, no later than December 11.
Can I skip, cancel or change size?
Monthly plans: skip or cancel online from your account before your next box ships. To change size, email us at support@vietnat.com.
Do prepaid plans renew?
No. Prepaid 6- and 12-month plans and all gifts are paid once and end after the last box.
Can you accommodate food allergies?
We're not able to customize boxes. The ingredients of every snack are listed in the printed guide in your box and on each snack's English label. Some snacks are made in facilities that also handle common allergens: wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, eggs, milk, sesame, fish and shellfish. If you have severe food allergies, please do not purchase this box.
